On Bioshock infinite I worked as a Level Builder and was the level owner on the Finkton area of the game as part of a team of designers, other Level Builders working on specific tasks, and environment modelers. My responsibilities were to blockout, decorate and light spaces, manage overall level flow, manage performance for the entire level, enhance gameplay and work with modelers to direct prop creation. Below are some of my favorite parts of the level that I worked on:
On the ‘clash in the clouds’ DLC I was the primary level builder assigned to the ‘ravens dome’ level. I unified colour schemes, modeled new assets using existing textures, added lighting and atmosphere to the level and produced final quality story decor. In the image below I also animated the birdcages.
